An interactive experience to discover the natural environment of the Etna Park, surrounding the highest active volcano in Europe.
With its forests, the trails, the unique landscapes, the typical products, the historic centers of its municipalities, the Park is all year round an attractive invitation for travelers and nature lovers, wine and food, sports outdoors in unique scenarios.
The Park is a magnificent area of eastern Sicily, which aims to enhance and protect at the same time this truly unique environment that highlights the strength of a powerful nature, but knows then also be very generous with the overwhelming fertility of its land , by gentleness and generosity of the “Muntagna”.
At the center of the ecosystem of the park is Mount Etna, with its 3,350 m high and an area of about 1,260 square kilometers.
Fall within the territory of the common twenty Park (Adrano, Belpasso, Biancavilla, Bronte, Castiglione di Sicilia, Giarre, Lingfield, Maletto, Mascali, Milo, Nicolosi, Pedara, Piedimonte Etneo, Ragalna, Randazzo, Santa Maria di Licodia, Sant’Alfio, Trecastagni, Viagrande, Zafferana Etnea), with a population of about two hundred fifty thousand inhabitants.
