PARCHI APERTI, THE ITALIAN ENVIRONMENTAL HERITAGE IS JUST A CLICK AWAY
Parchi Aperti is a project by Dynamoscopio and JecoGuides, in collaboration with Federparchi, which aims at the valorization of the Italian environmental heritage, through the digital promotion of the experiences offered by the parks and green areas. In Italy there are 24 National Parks (roughly 6% of the territory), 144 Regional Parks, 147 State Nature Reserves, 30 marine protected areas, 423 Regional Nature Reserves, 192 other natural areas. An extraordinary richness that is being told – and perceived – in an irregular and fragmented way to this day.
AN OPPORTUNITY FOR WELLNESS AND IMMERSION IN NATURE
Parchi Aperti encourages the discovery and fruition of many wellness opportunities surrounded by nature, even a few steps from home. Aware that the health of citizens is a priority to protect, the project offers a device that allows you to organize your own visit in a safe and conscious way. The moments of outdoor life offer a stimulus of biochemical nature, which acts on the strengthening of the immune system. As shown from the most recent scientific studies, breathing in the terpenes ejected from the plants improves your organic functions, it increases your antibodies and antitumoral proteins, and it reduces the production of stress hormones, such as cortisol.
PARCHI APERTI: HERE IS HOW THE PLATFORM WORKS
Parchi Aperti is a useful instrument, both for the parks and the visitors. On one hand it allows the accredited institutions to easily and intuitively illustrate the full range of their experiences. On the other hand, the user has access to a showcase, which puts together the offers of the participating parks. Using the filter system you can customize your own research, according to the type of the experience. For instance, you can choose in-between guided excursions or self-guided tours, initiatives such as courses and workshops, access to services like picnic or equipped areas, parks centres and parking spots.
PLAN YOUR EXPERIENCE IN TOUCH WITH NATURE
On each experience window, the visitor can consult the informative contents, such as textual descriptions and images. Useful information, including the type of the experience, the duration of the visit, degree of difficulty, accessibility, parking and target, costs services (if a fee is required), will help you to be more conscious about your choice. A particular focus is pointed to the theme of accessibility. If the experience has a limited access, the user can consult the available days and time. Once the appropriate experience has been found, the user can proceed to book and later print the ticket, available both in a printed paper version and a digital one.
