Comune di Pezzaze – Comunità Montana Val Trompia – Scopri Val Trompia

Museo ORMA – Officina delle Radici

The ORMA Museum is the first archaeological museum of the Valle Trompia, thought as an element to the origins and roots of the Valley and of time, with the task of transmitting the knowledge of findings that occurred on the territory.

The audience, especially young, is guided through an engaging interactive experience useful to increase the understanding of the exhibition.

The large entrance wall of the Broletto thus becomes a large window on the valley. Through the interaction with videos, photographs and textual content, the visitor is introduced to the museum experience as a relationship with Pezzaze and with the territory.

The surface of an ancient desk of the early ‘900, located on the first floor, lights up to give access to a wide range of educational games (memory, time line, interactive digging, quizzes, …) and materials for scientific study .

Each of the display cases in which the fragments of the artefacts are kept, located both on the first and second floors, is accompanied by interactive visualisers that allow visitors to consult the three-dimensional reproductions of objects, high-resolution photo galleries, historical sources, as well as video and location of excavation sites.
